Jennifer Kilinski Tops USA Triathlon Multisport Award Winners
February 7, 2012 (Colorado Springs, CO) -- USA Triathlon, the national governing body for triathlon, today named Gulf Winds Triathlon Club member Jennifer Kilinski as one of "the best of the multisport lifestyle" in 2011. Kilinski received top honors from USAT in its inaugural national awards, called the USA Triathlon Multisport Awards. The awards "recognize those individuals who best fueled the multisport lifestyle during the 2011 season," according to USAT.
Kilinski, who competes in the women's 30-34 age group, received the Jeff Jewell Spirit Award, recognizing her abilities as a competitor and an inspiration to others, both in triathlon and in life. Read the USAT news release about Jennifer and the other national award receipients here.
Kilinski adds this most recent national honor to an impressive list of honors from the 2011 season. In January 2012, she was honored by the Gulf Winds Track Club as its Female Triathlete of the year. She also received 2011 honors from the Tri Club for winning the women's Grand Prix open division and as the Top Gun winner for the fastest female Ironman (11:01:54). Congratulations Jennifer!
